Henrico schedules West Broad Street project hearing for Oct. 20

Henrico County's Department of Public Works will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Oct. 20 on proposed pedestrian and transit access improvements along two sections of West Broad Street.

The hearing is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the ACE Center at Hermitage High School, 8350 Hermitage High Boulevard.

The proposals cover West Broad Street between Forest Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive and between Glenside Drive and Parham Road. Planned features include sidewalk extensions, ADA-compliant curb ramps and crosswalks, and accommodations for proposed GRTC bus stop improvements.
