Full Circle opens new location in Lakeside
Full Circle Grief Center celebrated its move to a new, central location on the edge of Lakeside (at the intersection of Staples Mill Road and Dumbarton Road) with a July 29 open house event. Visitors to the center had the chance to create remembrance crafts and meet Full Circle's team of counselors and clinicians, as well as tour the new facility, which features walls decorated with art created individually and collectively by program participants.
Full Circle, a locally-based nonprofit providing support for grieving children, adults, families, and communities, previously was located on Patterson Avenue in Henrico's West End.
The center offers a range of programs and resources for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one, with charitable programs that include Hands on Healing family groups, perinatal loss groups, overdose and substance-use-related loss groups, suicide loss groups, and spouse/partner loss groups.

In addition, Full Circle offers outreach, educational, and consultative services. The Individual Counseling Practice provides grief therapy through insurance as well as a reduced rate; specialty areas include grief and loss, traumatic loss (such as homicide, suicide, traumatic accident) and anticipatory grief.
