The 41st Lebanese Food Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 11-12 and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 13 at Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 4611 Sadler Road in Glen Allen. Enjoy the many rich flavors of Lebanon through dishes such as baked kibbee, tabouli, bubbaghanooge, shawarma and loubiyeh. There also will be live authentic music and youth groups performing traditional Lebanese dancing. Henrico Recreation and Parks will host HenBIKEo on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crump Park, 3400 Mountain Road in Glen Allen. The festival celebrates the region’s cycling community with cyclocross races, demo bikes, mountain biking trails, a bike beauty pageant, kids' activities, vendors, live music and food. Cyclocross racing will begin at 10 a.m. and continue in heats through 3 p.m. A new pre-event “crash course” clinic for first-time cyclocross racers will begin at 9 a.m. Race registration is required; same-day registration will be available. In addition, WeeWheel Richmond will provide free bikes and helmet rentals, with races scheduled for balance-bike riders and children in age groups 4-5, 6-9 and 10-14. Admission is free. The Fall RVA Home Show will be held Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Avenue. Get started on your home improvement to-do list by meeting with the area’s best outdoor living companies, remodeling contractors, interior decorating companies, horticultural experts, and more. The Richmond VA Comicon, now celebrating its 40th year, will take place Saturday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Avenue. In addition to dozens of exhibitors and vendors, there will be a costume contest with prizes and a dance party. General admission is $14.99 while VIP admission (with early entry at 10:30 a.m.) is $24.99. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Parking is free. Tickets are only available online at vacomicon.com.

The Korean and Black Association of Central Virginia will present the inaugural K-Pop in the Park on Saturday, Sept. 12 from noon to 5 p.m. at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road in Varina. The festival - designed for lifelong K-Pop fans or those just discovering Korean culture - will feature a DJ playing K-Pop hits, K-Pop karaoke, dance workshops and performances, K-Pop trivia, a Kimchi eating contest, kids' activities, vendors, cultural exhibits and food.
