The Capitol Fools will perform at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road, at 7 p.m. Sept. 4-5 and at 3 p.m. Sept. 5. Neither side of the aisle is safe as the Capitol Fools skewer politics and the ruling class of Washington, D.C. Blackberry Smoke will bring its 25th Anniversary Tour to After Hours Concerts at The Innsbrook Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. The Atlanta-based band's latest album, 2024's Be Right Here, draws inspiration from Southern rock, blues-leaning classic rock and rootsy vintage country. It reached the Top 5 on Billboard's Top Current Album Sales chart. Special guest will be Cris Jacobs. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets start at $34.26. Burlesque Bingo will take place at Blue Bee Cider, 4811 Bethlehem Road, on Friday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. In Burlesque Bingo, the performance is the game - bingo cards are filled with moments, moods and mayhem you'll spot live on stage. Performers will include Binky Daze, Isabel Astrum and Luna LaMorgue, with special guests from New Orleans, Cece Dynamite and Ember Alert. The Henrico Theatre, 305 East Nine Mile Road in Highland Springs, will show two movies this weekend: The Matrix (1999, R, 136 minutes) at 7 p.m. Sept. 4-5 and Osmosis Jones (2001, PG, 95 minutes) at 3 p.m. Sept. 5-6. Henrico Recreation and Parks will present Jazz in the Park on Sunday, Sept. 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Deep Run Park, 9900 Ridgefield Parkway. The performer will be William "Chan" Hall of The Chan Hall Experience, a Richmond-based smooth jazz recording artist. The concert will take place in the activity field near the pond.
