Blue Bee Cider, 4811 Bethlehem Road, will host Orchard After Dark on Friday, April 17 at 8 p.m. This sultry, whimsical burlesque experience features Bunny Noir, D3ADP4NN, Isabel Astrum and Valentina LaVey, with Cherri Vendetta kittening. Enjoy an outdoor movie in the park at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 North Laburnum Avenue, on Friday, April 17. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. on the multipurpose field. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a flashlight. Picnics are welcome. Because of licensing, Henrico Recreation and Parks can't publish the movie title but here's a hint: "A career Marine has no idea what to do as a civilian, so his commander finds him a job - commanding officer of a local school's JROTC program, a bunch of ragtag losers with no hope." Intercept Health will host its second annual Foster Care Aware event on Saturday, April 18 from noon to 3 p.m. at Taylor Farm Park, 200 Whiteside Road in Sandston. The festival will include a foam party, bounce houses, photo booth, face painting, live DJ, food trucks and more. Anya Hinkle and Libby Weitnauer will perform Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Shady Grove Coffeehouse, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen. Known for their crystalline voices, vivid songwriting and roots‑rich blend of bluegrass, folk and Americana, their show is an intimate exploration of acoustic music rooted in the sounds of Appalachia and seasoned by travels around the globe. The Lakeside Earth Love Market, a local collaborative market event presented by Twisted Carrot Farm, will take place Sunday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakeside Farmers' Market, 6110 Lakeside Avenue. While the collaborative market is open weekly indoors, the Earth Love Market will expand into the outdoor pavilion to include even more local vendors (60+) to shop from.
