A portion of Azalea Avenue in Northern Henrico reopened Monday afternoon, hours after Henrico Police officials had closed it to address a utility problem.

Virginia Department of Transportation officials are alerting motorists that they are likely to encounter alternating double lane closures along a portion of I-95 in Northern Henrico during evening and overnight hours Aug. 17-21.

Sadler Road in Glen Allen will be closed to through traffic between Innslake Drive and Scotland Lane beginning Monday, Aug. 11 as part of a project to improve and realign a 1.9-mile stretch of Sadler.
The closure is expected to remain in effect into the week of Sept. 8.
A person was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Henrico County on Sunday, Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett.
Henrico Police were called to the wreck at the River Road and Panorama Drive around 7:55 p.m., according to online emergency communications logs.
