With profound love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Tammy Patrice Anderson Williams, who peacefully departed this life on August 1, 2026, at the age of 63.
Born on July 17, 1963, in Glen Allen, Virginia, Tammy was the beloved daughter of William and Mary Anderson. From an early age, she discovered her passion for music and faithfully served by playing the piano for her church choir. Her love for music remained a constant source of joy and inspiration throughout her life.
Tammy graduated from Hermitage High School in 1981 and began her professional career in banking. Later, Tammy found her true calling in the beauty industry, where she devoted more than 20 years as a talented cosmetologist. She worked alongside her mother at Anderson's Beauty Salon, where she became known for her skill in hairstyling and nail care. Never one to limit her creativity, Tammy also pursued her passion for beauty by developing her own makeup line, Divinity Cosmetics, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and artistic vision.
On June 30, 1984, Tammy married the love of her life and soulmate, Michael David Williams. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership built on faith, love, and unwavering devotion. Together they shared 42 wonderful years and were blessed with two sons, who were among Tammy's greatest joys and proudest accomplishments.
Beyond her career and family, Tammy embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved reading, writing poetry, and attending musical concerts, finding beauty and inspiration in every melody and every written word. Her warm spirit, creativity, and loving heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tammy leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted husband of 42 years, Michael David Williams; two beloved sons, Michael David Williams, Jr. (Kayla) and Brian Terrell Williams; two treasured grandsons, Tayvion Elias Williams and Amari Michael Williams; brother, Micah Anderson; two uncles, Theodore Tyler and Earl Tyler; aunt, Catherine Tyler; a host of nieces, nephews; two sisters-in-law; many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love and kindness.
Though Tammy's earthly journey has ended, her legacy of love, faith, creativity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for family will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at held at a later date.
