Keep Henrico Beautiful recognizes 2026 award-winning properties
The Keep Henrico Beautiful Committee recently selected the winners of its annual awards program that recognizes properties that are well-landscaped and highlights best practices for soil and water conservation and sustainability.
The program honors each magisterial district’s recipient of the Land Lover Award and a countywide winner of the Clean Business Award. The Henrico Board of Supervisors recognized the honorees at its July 28 meeting.
The winners of the Land Lover Award for residential properties are:
• Lilly and John Weber, of the Brookland District;
• the Anthony family, of the Fairfield District;
• Colleen M. Watson, of the Three Chopt District;
• Nancy Frowert, of the Tuckahoe District;
• and Rob Whitehead and Cornelia Corbett, of the Varina District.
Fleur-de-lis Farms, located in Varina, is the recipient of the Clean Business Award.

The awards recognize residential and business properties that are attractively landscaped, well-maintained and litter-free. Nominees for a Land Lover or Clean Business award must also participate in an ongoing recycling program, such as composting, curbside pickup or drop-off service.
The recipients of a Land Lover Award employ a variety of conservation best practices, such as pollinator gardens, rain barrels, wildlife brush and water features as well as native plants in place of turf lawn. This year’s winners also contain a designated Monarch Waystation and two National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitats.
As the Clean Business Award honoree, Fleur-de-lis Farms was recognized for creative sustainability initiatives, such as cover crops with pollinator flowers, solar power, drip irrigation to conserve water and composting garden waste.
