Henrico spray parks open for 2026 season

Henrico County's spray parks have opened and will remain open daily through at least Labor Day, according to Recreation and Parks officials.

The spray parks, each of which features unique elements, are located at:

• Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road;
• Dunncroft/ Castle Point Park, 4901 Francistown Road, Glen Allen;
• Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 North Laburnum Avenue;
• Short Pump Park, 3329 Pump Road;
• Taylor Farm Park, 200 Whiteside Road, Sandston;
• Twin Hickory Park, 5011 Twin Hickory Road, Glen Allen.

Children must be supervised at all times, and swim diapers are required if necessary for toddlers. Climbing on water features is prohibited, except at Taylor Farm Park.

Pets are not permitted in spray park areas, and food, drinks, glass containers, and smoking are prohibited.
