Henrico Kiwanis Club to host 20th annual golf tournament fundraiser for Henrico CASA

The Kiwanis Club of Henrico Foundation will host its 20th Annual Golf Classic Oct. 12 at The Dominion Club in Glen Allen, with proceeds benefiting Henrico Court Appointed Special Advocates.

The tournament will feature a Captain’s Choice format and shotgun start. Participants will receive lunch, two beverage tickets, gifts and a door prize, and the event will conclude with a dinner and awards ceremony.

Registration remains open for teams and hole sponsors. Non-golfers also may support the event by sponsoring a hole or making a donation to the Kiwanis Club of Henrico Foundation.

The Henrico Kiwanis Club provides financial and volunteer support to a number of local organizations and programs, including Henrico CASA, Start 1 Spark, the Live Red Foundation, Feed More, Meals on Wheels, local YMCA branches and Key Clubs at Deep Run, Freeman, Glen Allen and J.R. Tucker high schools. Club members contribute about 1,000 hours of community service annually.

Henrico County recognized the organization with a Heart of Service Award in April.
