Henrico CASA recruits 'Henrico Heroes' for mustache fundraiser

Henrico Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is recruiting participants for its Henrico Heroes team in the annual Mustaches for Kids fundraiser.

Participants are encouraged to grow a mustache or wear a fake one from Nov. 4 through Dec. 4 while directing friends and other supporters to individual donation pages. Henrico CASA said its team raised $100,000 through last year’s campaign.

Growers also may attend Wednesday evening check-ins during the campaign and a Dec. 4 “Stache Bash.” Registration is available through the M4K Richmond website.

Henrico CASA provides trained volunteer advocates for children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings in Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. More information is available from Henrico CASA.
