Dorey Park Farmers Market plans music, yoga and family activities Sept. 19

Dorey Park Farmers Market will feature live music, yoga and children’s activities during its Saturday, Sept. 19 market at 2999 Darbytown Road in Varina.

Singer-songwriter Tyler Meacham will perform from 10 a.m. to noon. A donation-based community yoga class for all skill levels will be held at 10 a.m. on the rec center deck; participants should bring a mat and water.

The READ tent will offer children an opportunity to practice their reading skills with Zeke the dog from 10 a.m. to noon. The market’s POP Club will have a hands-on craft, and free take-home paint kits from the Foundation for Art and Health will be available while supplies last.
