A new Buffalo Wild Wings GO location is scheduled to open in late September at 11446 West Broad Street in Short Pump, near Walmart. The restaurant will feature the chain's order-ahead, quick-pickup format, with a menu that includes bone-in and boneless wings, chicken dippers, sandwiches, wraps and shareable sides, along with 26 sauces and dry rubs. The location will be the 10th Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Virginia operated by Belle Holdings, Inc., franchisee Kevin Donham's company. The new location marks the return of the Buffalo Wild Wings concept to Short Pump; the chain previously had a presence across the street adjacent to SkateNation Plus but closed it in 2023 after 14 years. Richmond International Airport Chief Operating Officer John B. Rutledge recently was named Airport Executive of the Year as part of the 2026 Virginia Aviation Awards. Rutledge has been a member of RIC's leadership team for two decades, initially serving as director of planning and engineering before becoming chief operating officer. He oversees the airport's day-to-day operations, planning, capital development and public safety functions.
Kerwin's Kitchen opened earlier this year inside SkateNation Plus in Short Pump, replacing rink-side concession, Axios Richmond recently reported. The restaurant, helmed by chef Kerwin Gonzalez, serves American classics like hamburgers and hot dogs but with a Venezuelan twist. Venezuelan favorites like arepas, cachapas, patacones and tequeños also are available. SkateNation is located at 4350 Pouncey Tract Road. Hours of operation are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
Richmond Physical Therapy opened its second clinic Aug. 3 in western Henrico, Richmond BizSense recently reported. The 2,500-square-foot office, located at 2200 Pump Road (at the corner of Pump and Ridgefield Parkway), joins the clinic’s other center near Willow Lawn. Considerable growth necessitated the additional space, according to owner Geoff Gunther, who purchased the practice seven years ago.
Deep Run Roadhouse, a barbecue and Tex-Mex restaurant, announced last week on social media that they are relocating to 2120 John Rolfe Parkway in Henrico’s West End. The restaurant will be closed for a few weeks during the transition. Catering will still operate out of the original space at 12379 Gayton Road.
