3 firefighters hospitalized after wreck that shut down all eastbound lanes of I-64 in Henrico

Three firefighters were taken to an area hospital for injuries after a crash on Interstate 64 in Henrico County, according to police.

The crash happened at mile marker 182, near Parham Road, around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the initial investigation indicates a Henrico County Fire engine had responded to a vehicle fire along I-64 and was stopped in the far-right lane when it was struck by a dump truck.
