Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden's Fall Plant Sale will take place outside in Parking Lot B from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 18-19. Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists and Garden volunteers will be available to answer questions and help guide selections. Other garden-related items will be for sale too. A portion of vendor proceeds will be donated to Lewis Ginter. Leashed dogs are welcome. The sale is free to attend; tickets are required to enter the Garden. The 2nd annual East Coast Expo will take place Sept. 18-20 at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Avenue. Discover one-of-a-kind treasures from more than 70 curated exhibitors while enjoying live music and performances. Items for sale include antiques, fine art, home and outdoor décor, artisan baked goods, heirloom plants, architectural pieces, handcrafted Virginia products, and more. The Henrico Theatre Company will present Nunsense at 7 p.m. Sept. 18-19 and at 3 p.m. Sept. 20 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road. This musical comedy follows the misadventures of five nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who are staging a variety show to raise money after a bad batch of vichyssoise soup created by Sister Julia poisons 52 members of the convent. The Glen Allen Ruritan Club and Henrico Recreation & Parks will host the 30th Annual Glen Allen Day on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Crump Park, 3400 Mountain Road in Glen Allen. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a parade starting at the intersection of John Cussons Drive and Mountain Road and traveling down Mountain Road to Meadow Farm/Crump Park. Festivities will take place in the park from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include more than 100 vendors, music and other live entertainment, family activities and food. Admission is free.
