Partnership for Housing Affordability to host first-time home-buyer event in Henrico Sept. 24
The Partnership for Housing Affordability will host a first-time home-buyer event Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Deep Run Recreation Center in Henrico.
The open house is intended for first-time buyers interested in purchasing a new home through the Henrico Affordable Housing Trust Fund. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with builders, lenders and program partners and learn about the process of becoming a homeowner through the program.
To qualify, prospective buyers must be purchasing a home for the first time and have a household income between 60% and 120% of the area median income.
More than 470 housing units have been awarded through the Henrico Affordable Housing Trust Fund to date, with several additional project applications under review. The fund is designed to expand affordable homeownership opportunities in Henrico County.
Deep Run Recreation Center is located at 9900 Ridgefield Parkway.
