Obituary - Richard Pasquale Falco
Richard 'Dick' Pasquale Falco, 93, of Glen Allen, VA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Anne Elizabeth Falco; children, Richard Falco, Anne Falco Duvall, and Edward Falco; and sister, Florence D'Andrea. He is survived by his loving daughters, Barbara Hershey (David) and Madeleine McIntyre; grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Joshua), Richard Falco (Julie), Richard Duvall, Andrew 'Brock' Duvall, Christopher Hershey (Olivia), Lauren Hershey (Clay), Brooke Hershey, Danny Falco (Cody), Tom Falco, Kelly McIntyre, Kaitlyn McIntyre, and Joseph McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Mae and Ava Roberts; daughters-in-law, Donna Falco and Connie Falco; son-in-law, Paul Duvall; his companion, Carol Roseme; as well as many other extended family members and dear friends.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dick served honorably in the United States Army before marrying Anne and starting a family. All five of their children were born in New York, where the family spent many years before later relocating to Northern Virginia. While working to support his family, Dick pursued his engineering degree through night school. His career with the Veterans Administration later brought the family from Long Island to Springfield, Virginia. Following an early retirement from government service, he continued working for many years in the private sector. In retirement, Dick and Anne made their home in Glen Allen. Dick was known for his quick wit, warmth and willingness to help others. He was someone family, friends and neighbors could count on for advice or help fixing just about anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 27 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road, in Richmond, where a Prayer Service will follow at 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 28, at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Road, in Glen Allen, with a reception following in the church fellowship hall. Interment in Virginia Veteran's Cemetery at Amelia to be private. His family wishes to thank the incredible caregivers and staff at Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center in Richmond for the compassion, dignity, and care they provided during his more than three years there. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation or Little Sisters of the Poor, two organizations that were meaningful to Dick.
