Jolean “Jo” Sally Pace MacIntosh, affectionately known as “GG,” 86, of Henrico, Virginia, passed away on August 7, 2026.

Jo was born on January 8, 1940, in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was raised and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School. She dedicated many years of service as a school bus driver for Prince George's County.

Jo was a constant source of love and support for her daughters and family, encouraging and inspiring them throughout their lives. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, and trips to the beach, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her many friends and family.

Jo was kindness in its purest form. She had enough love in her heart for the entire world, and she gave it away freely. It is no wonder she was loved by absolutely everyone who knew her. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Jo Miller (Jeff), Teresa “Teri” Lee Kaczynski (Billy), Tracy Ann MacIntosh-Nolan (Tommy), and Jamie Kay MacIntosh; five grandchildren, Brandy (Justin), Jeffrey (Tiffani), Jessica (Wes), Danielle (Denny), and Nicole (Jake); and 12 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Ada, Bentley, JT, Corey, Skylar, Scarlett, Noah, Jaxon, Denny Jr., Austin, and Autumn. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Andrew MacIntosh (Barbara); sister-in-law, Katherine Marie Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth MacIntosh, Jr.; her mother, Eloise Milord; her father, Grady Douglas Pace; and her brothers, Douglas Pace and Gary Pace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11am-1pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., Glen Allen, VA 23060. A celebration of her life will follow immediately after the service at Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House, 10300 Three Chopt Rd, Henrico, VA 23233. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
