Andrew Baker of Glen Allen graduated cum laude with a BS in Business Administration May 8 from Bob Jones University in South Carolina. He also was named to the spring 2026 president’s list, which recognizes students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher. Before graduation, Baker was hired as a Chick-fil-A shift manager at a Richmond location.

Gabriela Cruz of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2026 dean’s list at Berry College in Georgia. To qualify for this honor, students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Curtis Blair III of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2026 dean’s list at Cedarville University in Ohio. To be eligible for this honor, students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours must earn a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester.
Amanda Williamson of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2026 president’s list at the University of Louisiana Monroe. To be eligible for this honor, full-time undergraduate students must earn a minimum 3.9 grade point average for the semester. Williamson is a Health Studies: Health Care Management & MRT major.
Reagan Shifflett of Henrico presented original academic work April 16 at Ohio Wesleyan University's 2026 Spring Student Symposium. She and three other students presented "Forecasting Industrial Sector Performance: Evidence from Industrial Production, Capacity Utilization, Construction Spending, and Durable Goods.” The annual symposium is designed to highlight the breadth, depth and quality of work produced by Ohio Wesleyan students in their classes and through mentored research, performances and other projects.
