McClellan opens applications for 2026-27 Youth Advisory Council

U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan has opened applications for her 2026-27 Youth Advisory Council, a program for high school students who live or attend school in Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District.

Members will meet virtually each month from October through May with McClellan’s Washington and district staff. The program will cover the legislative process, communications, constituent casework and district outreach. Students also will develop a project and present their policy ideas to McClellan.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2. Program details and application information are available through McClellan’s official congressional website.
