Henrico PAL to hold 'Gram Cakes and Coffee' fundraiser

National Grandparents' Day is just a month away, and Henrico Police Athletic League is inviting families to celebrate at its inaugural Gram Cakes and Coffee fundraiser Sept. 12. 

Designed to connect the generations while supporting HPAL's Capital Campaign, the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the HPAL Auditorium, 2401 Hartman Street in Henrico.

For $12 per ticket, grandparents and grandchildren can bond over a breakfast of fresh pancakes, bacon, and sausage, in addition to coffee and juice – all served by officers and youth volunteers.         

Every dollar raised will help build a safe-haven facility dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and youth.
