Henrico Nonprofit Notes: Oct. 12, 2026

Henrico Christmas Mother is accepting applications for holiday assistance from eligible Henrico residents Oct. 12, 17, 19 and 26 at 360 Dabbs House Road. Eligible applicants include families with school-age children, residents age 65 or older and adults with documented disabilities. Applicants must bring required identity, residency, income and eligibility documents; applications are not accepted by mail, email or phone. Details are available at henricochristmasmother.org.

The Meta Henrico Data Center Community Action Grants program, administered through ChangeX, is accepting applications through Oct. 19 from eligible nonprofits, public schools and government entities for Henrico-based projects. The program lists technology, education, economic development and community needs among its focus areas. Applicants are expected to be notified by Feb. 9, 2027.
