Henrico Democrats to hold Oct. 7 forum

The Henrico County Democratic Committee’s Black Caucus will host a free community conversation Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 North Laburnum Avenue.

Radio One personality Clovia Lawrence will moderate a discussion about three proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution that are scheduled to appear on the Nov. 3 ballot. Organizers said attendees will hear what each proposal would change, hear from organizations involved in the amendment efforts, and have an opportunity to ask questions.
