Greater Richmond Insurance Industry Summit planned Oct. 14

The Greater Richmond Insurance Industry Summit will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, 2015 Staples Mill Road.

The free event, which includes lunch, is designed for students, job-seekers and professionals interested in careers in the insurance industry. It will feature insurance executives, hiring managers and other industry leaders and include networking sessions, a career expo and information about in-demand skills and career opportunities.

The summit is being promoted by the Henrico Economic Development Authority.

The event is free and open to the public; registration is available online.
