Glen Allen family loses belongings, 2 dogs in fire
A Glen Allen family escaped injury but lost all of its belongings and its two dogs in a house fire April 22.
The fire, determined to be accidental in nature, began at about 8 p.m. at the Fultz family's home on Pine Lodge Court in Glen Allen.
Units from Henrico Fire Station 15 responded to the home and found a significant fire, which they battled inside the home before extinguishing most of it from the outside.
The Red Cross is assisting the Fultzes, who are staying with family members. The family's two dogs died in the fire.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help the family get back on its feet.
