Full Circle Grief Center opens new, central location in Henrico

Full Circle Grief Center, a nonprofit founded in 2008 to provide comprehensive, professional bereavement support to the community, has moved to a new location in Henrico.

Formerly located on Patterson Avenue in western Henrico, Full Circle is now headquartered on the third floor of the Dumbarton Oaks building at 5511 Staples Mill Road.

The new location, near I-64 and the intersection of Dumbarton and Staples Mill roads, is more centrally located to allow the organization to serve all of Metro Richmond. Access to public transportation also has improved, with access to GRTC bus transit.

The new center also offers the organization larger group meeting rooms, which will enable it to expand its range of programs.

Among the services offered at no cost to clients are Hands on Healing family groups, perinatal loss groups, overdose and substance use-related loss groups, suicide loss groups, and widow/widower/partner loss groups.

In addition, Full Circle offers outreach groups in local schools and community organizations.

Full Circle’s Individual Counseling Practice provides grief therapy for those grieving the death of a loved one, through insurance as well as a reduced rate. Specialty areas include grief and loss, traumatic loss (such as homicide, suicide, traumatic accident) and anticipatory grief. All of Full Circle’s programs are facilitated by professional mental health clinicians.
