Henrico Police investigating shooting that killed 1, injured 3


Henrico Police are investigating a shooting that killed one man and left three others hospitalized.

The incident took place May 2 just before 11:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Delmont Street near Richmond Raceway. Officers responded to the scene and found the two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where 37-year-old Anthony Vondell Eberhardt of Henrico later died from his injuries. The other man remains in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other men were also found at local hospitals with similar gunshot wounds, and police determined that they were all connected to the same incident.

Detectives are currently following up on leads in the investigation.
