More than 60 organized youth sports leagues are available to children and teens in Henrico County, although the county itself does not sponsor or organize any.

Sports field reservations

To request a field or facility reservation, click here.

Natural grass fields are available for reservation in the spring, summer, and fall. Synthetic turf fields are available year-round.

Local athletic organizations can request use of these fields, as well as fields on county elementary and middle school grounds, by contacting the county’s Sports League Coordinators. Organized athletic events on Henrico County fields should not take place without prior approval from Henrico Recreation & Parks. Groups wishing to reserve a field must provide a copy of liability insurance.
