The Henrico Theatre Company will present the comedy "Getting Sara Married" at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen on May 1-2 at 7 p.m. and on May 3 at 3 p.m. The story features Aunt Martha, who is determined to get her reluctant niece Sara married at any cost. Unfortunately, the suitor she selects is someone already engaged to be married. Tickets are $10 for seniors and students and $12 for adults. The show continues the next two weekends. Dorey Park Farmers Market will host a Cajun Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fleur-de-lis Farms, 2666 Kingsland Road in Varina. This Louisiana country boil will feature crawfish, corn, potatoes, fixins', libations and more. Enjoy live music and connect with others who share a love for good food and good times. Funds raised will help Dorey Park Farmers Market provide food access for all, expand community outreach efforts and events, increase fun family activities, and continue to keep vendor fees low. Hardywood Park Brewing in West Creek, 820 Sanctuary Trail Drive, will host the 2026 RVA Taco Festival on Sunday, May 3 from noon to 6 p.m. The event will feature 10 of the best food trucks and taquerias from around the Richmond area, as well as local musical artists and a special Mexican-style lager brewed exclusively by Hardywood. The event is free to attend but a suggested donation of $10 per adult will be donated to Safe Harbor, a Henrico-based nonprofit that has provided services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking since 2000. The Day Players Band will perform at the Richmond Funny Bone at the Short Pump Town Center on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. Spend an afternoon with daytime soap's leading men - Eric Martsolf, Brandon Barash, Carson Boatman and Scott Reeves - from NBC's Days of Our Lives and ABC's General Hospital, who will perform popular tunes from past decades.
