Notice of Willingness to Hold a Public Hearing

The County of Henrico proposes to provide improvements to multi-modal function, transit access, and pedestrian safety and accessibility along W. Broad Street between Forest Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive. The proposed improvements will add sidewalk facilities, where not currently installed, on both the north and south side of West Broad Street from Forest Avenue to Willow Lawn Drive. The project includes ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant curb ramps and crosswalks; proposed GRTC transit stops improvements; intersection modifications; and traffic and pedestrian signal improvements.

If your concerns cannot be satisfied, Henrico County is willing to hold a public hearing. You may request a public hearing by sending a written request to Department of Public Works, Attn: Sudha Mudgade, P.O. Box 90775, Henrico, VA 23273-0775, on or before July 10. If a request for a public hearing is received, notice of the date, time and place of the public hearing will be provided.
