Virginia Board of Education to meet Sept. 23-24 in Henrico

The Virginia Board of Education will meet Sept. 23 and 24 at Reynolds Community College’s Parham Road Campus, 1651 East Parham Road in Henrico.

The board will convene at 9 a.m. Sept. 23 before entering a closed session under Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711. A work session will follow the closed meeting or lunch. Public comment will not be accepted during the closed session or work session. The work session will be livestreamed.

The board’s Sept. 24 business meeting begins at 9 a.m. in Lipman Auditorium, and public comment will be accepted. People who want to address the board should use the speaker sign-up form by 5 p.m. Sept. 23. Written comments also may be submitted through the board’s public comment form.
