ID Logistics Warehousing, LLC, a supply chain management company, will locate in a new 582,000-square foot distribution facility in Eastern Henrico – an $83 million investment that's expected to create about 1,000 new jobs.

The company will operate out of developer Ashley Capital’s recently completed I-895 Logistics Center building at 7011 South Laburnum Avenue, where it intends to manage regulated inventory and fulfillment processes for retail and direct-to-consumer household products like cleaning and beauty items.

“ID Logistics is very pleased to be opening our newest facility in Henrico, Virginia,” said Franck Bouny, the deputy chief operations officer for ID Logistics US. “I look forward to partnering with local leadership and your community as a whole to bring fantastic local talent into the ID Logistics family.”

The location was a fit for the company because of its location near Richmond International Airport and other nearby multi-modal infrastructure, including access to the region’s major interstate corridors and Virginia’s deepwater marine terminals.

“It is a pleasure to welcome ID Logistics to Henrico as they establish their first Virginia operation,” said Varina Magisterial District Supervisor Tyrone Nelson. “An investment of this scale speaks volumes about the strength of our community and the depth of our local talent. These 1,000 new jobs will not only create direct career pathways for our residents but also help families across the region get the everyday household essentials they need faster. We wish the ID Logistics team great success as they launch this new facility.”

With the addition of its Henrico facility, ID Logistics US has expanded its national network to 56 sites across 20 states.
