Shepherd's Center of Richmond to host Aug. 25 open house

The Shepherd’s Center of Richmond, a nonprofit, educational, and service organization for older adults, will host its annual Open House on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5101 Monument Ave, Suite 105.

Attendees can learn about the center's lifelong learning programs, meet its volunteers, board members and Shepherd’s Center members; discover volunteer opportunities and how to get involved; and become members or sign up for upcoming events. Light refreshments will be served; parking is available behind the building.
