Poseidon Bowl, 9127-R West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: two hand sinks are blocked; hand sink near fryers doesn’t have hand soap; microwave interior is dirty; there is 0 ppm of chlorine in dish machine; temperature of cream in prep cooler is elevated; bleach bottle and soap bottle are unlabeled; two bottles of vitamins, one bottle of Advil and a bottle of hand sanitizer are stored on shelf above prep coolers; a bottle of butane fuel is stored next to napkins; a container of roach gel is stored above open bag of flour; two bins of flour are unlabeled; two buckets of sauce mix are stored directly on floor; plastic containers without handles are being used as scoops in flour bins and spice bins; two fryer baskets are heavily bent; facility couldn’t provide chlorine test strips.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, 11792 West Broad Street – The following violation was reported during a follow-up inspection: another fryer basket on the cookline has broken off metal pieces.

My Empanada, 1421 Blue Jay Lane – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; heated air-drying device is not plugged in; a juice bottle is labeled “non-pasteurized” but doesn’t contain a label warning that it “may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems."

Panera Bread, 4483 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: there is still buildup on units along the cookline; there is buildup on floor along cookline.

Thai Won On, 3422 Lauderdale Drive – The following violation was reported during a follow-up inspection: raw meats are again stored over ready-to-eat sauces in the second prep unit on the line.

Longhorn Steakhouse, 4409 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperatures of whipped butter and cheese on ice bath are elevated; breading for chicken and shrimp on time control has exceeded four hours; bulk bins of a white substance are unlabeled; racks in units are rusty; two lights are out under the hood; heavy buildup found on equipment along the cookline; observed debris and grime inside units and on gaskets; there are leaks at sink at dish machine and at back hand sink; floors, walls and ceilings are in need of cleaning.

Pho Thien Phat 2, 9031 West Broad Street – No violations reported during a follow-up inspection.

Hardee’s, 3201 East Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: facility doesn’t have a working thermometer; observed grease and grime buildup on floors throughout kitchen; there is heavy dust on ceiling tiles; observed heavy grime and residue buildup on interior gaskets, hot holding sills, monitors, wires and shelving; two employees aren’t wearing hair restraints; there are cracked tiles; ceiling tiles are in disrepair; there is low/missing grout.

Arilang Sushi, 2239 Old Brick Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: time isn’t marked for sushi rice; cans of butane are stored above food on dry storage shelf in kitchen; two pieces of raw tuna in prep unit thawed while still in reduced oxygen packaging; observed buildup of dried food debris on walk-in cooler floor.

Murat’s Institute & Café, 12456 Gayton Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: a pot of soup and orzo in reach-in cooler are covered during the cooling process.

McDonald's, 10000 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: employees prepping food are wearing bracelets; gaskets are torn; a light is out in one-door reach-in; a lowboy not in use has an elevated air temperature; observed low grouting along cookline.

Mell Jay’s Bar & Grill North, 7515 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: bar hand sink doesn’t have paper towels and there is trash stored in it; there is no hand sink in downstairs bar area; French fry slicer is dirty; dried food debris found inside microwave and on can opener blade; facility doesn’t have a food thermometer; walk-in racks are rusted; gaskets are torn on prep unit; multiple units aren’t working; door gaskets on reach-in freezer on cookline and interior/exterior of make table on cookline are dirty; there are dried food stains and debris inside reach-in freezer; there is a leak in pipes under three-compartment sink; there isn’t a covered trash can in staff bathroom; ceiling vents throughout kitchen are dusty; observed food and grease stains on cookline back wall; there is grease on floor near stove; cracked floor tile found in front of door to men’s restroom; there is a hole in the wall next to mop sink area; dish area light intensity is too low.
