A Henrico teen is missing after attending a birthday party June 20 in Henrico's West End, and her parents have issued urgent pleas for her safe return.
Jada Tomlin attended a party off Springfield Road, according to separate social media posts from her parents, but has not been heard from or seen since. Tomlin is described as a white female, about 5 foot 8 in height and 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing white shorts and a tank top.
Tomlin's mother wrote that her cell phone last pinged to a location near the intersection of McLellan and Old Church roads in Hanover County, roughly 30 minutes from the location of the party.
"I do not know how she got there, who she was with, or if she even made it to that location," she posted on Facebook. "Her phone is off. Nobody has heard or seen Jada since she left that party."
Tomlin's mother indicated that she had heard several different accounts of who her daughter may have left the party with but that she could not confirm any of them.
"It's unlike her to not check in, and keep me updated on where she is," her mother wrote. "It's also not like her to be off of her phone 10 minutes let alone 24 hours. I DO believe my daughter is in danger."
A missing person's report has been filed in Hanover County since that is where her phone last pinged, Tomlin's mother said.
Anyone with information about Tomlin's location should call the Hanover County Sheriff's Office at (804) 365-6110 or Henrico County Police at (804) 501-5000.
