ORDER OF PUBLICATION
The Plaintiff, having filed a Complaint for Divorce and having filed an Affidavit stating that the Defendant, Mohammed M. Al Shahwani, is a nonresident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, has absconded to Iraq, and that after due diligence his present address and whereabouts cannot be ascertained, and that personal service cannot be effected upon him within the Commonwealth, and that service by publication is appropriate pursuant to Virginia Code §§ 8.01-316 and 8.01-317;

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Defendant appear on or before 23rd day of November, 2026, for the entry and presentment of the Final Decree and do what is necessary to protect his interests in this matter.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order be published once a week for four (4) successive weeks in the Henrico Citizen, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Henrico, Virginia, and that the Clerk shall post this Order at the front door of the courthouse as required by law.

The object of this suit is to obtain a divorce a vinculo matrimonii based on the parties having lived separated and apart, continuously and without interruption, for more than one year, and to incorporate but not merge the existing Henrico Juvenile and Domestic Relations custody orders into the Final Decree of Divorce.
