ORDER OF PUBLICATION

The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Hanover, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Hanover, Virginia, described as follows:

Account No. 10165584

All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land lying and being in Henry District, Hanover County, Virginia, containing 2.030 acres, more or less, and being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at a point where the southern property line now or formerly of Beverly Green intersects with the west property line of Thomas R. Winston, which is the northeast corner of subject property, marked by a rod; thence S. 4° 00' W. 644.50 feet to a point which is 3.03 feet north of a rod set; thence N. 87° 25' W. 137.76 feet to a point; thence N. 4° 00' E. 639.88 feet to a point; thence S. 89° 20' E. 8.95 feet to a rod set; thence S. 89° 20' E. 129.00 feet to the point of BEGINNING; all as more particularly described on a plat of survey by Robert L. Downing, C.L.S., dated August 17, 1970 which is recorded in Deed Book 341 at Page 644 in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office of Hanover County, Virginia.

And being a portion of the same real property conveyed from Beverly Green, Jr. to Thomas Winston and Arletha Winston, as tenants by the entirety with right of survivorship, which was subsequently converted to tenants in common upon the divorce of Thomas Winston and Arletha Winston in 2012, by Deed of Correction dated July 27, 2004 and recorded August 26, 2004 in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office of Hanover County, Virginia, in Deed Book 2379 at Page 850 as Instrument Number 040019074.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 452 at Page 704, Deed Book 673 at Page 549a, and Deed Book 341 at Page 644.

IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Thomas Winston, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 7318 Foxal Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23116; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before September 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Hanover, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
