Operation Harvest will bless over 2,000 local families in need with Thanksgiving dinners Thursday

Preparations were underway at the Richmond Raceway in Henrico as nonprofits and churches ensure thousands of our neighbors do not go hungry this Thanksgiving.
For the 10th year, St. Paul’s Baptist Church is organizing Operation Harvest 2025 - The RVA Community Thanksgiving Distribution.
The church’s director of outreach, Greta Randolph, said various groups and volunteers donated Thanksgiving dinner supplies including macaroni and cheese, stuffing, corn, and gift cards to purchase a turkey.
All are welcome at the distribution event at the Richmond Raceway on East Laburnum Avenue starts at 3:30 p.m. Thursday and ends at 6 p.m. Randolph said families started lining up before 10 a.m.
