Obituary - William Perkins Flippen
William Perkins Flippen of Glen Allen, VA gained his heavenly wings on Friday September 11, 2026. William was born in Buckingham County on June 28, 1937. He enjoyed traveling, working on anything and everything, attending his grandson’s ballgames and spending time with his family and friends. He was a long time member of Deep Run Baptist Church and enjoyed being involved with the members there.
He is survived by his son, William Kevin Flippen, daughter-in-law Angel and 3 precious grandsons, Brody, Briggs and Beau.
William was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Nettie Doyle Flippen and his two daughters, Theresa Gail Flippen and Denise Yvonne Flippen.
Visitation will be held on September 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again on September 21, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Woody Parham, 1771 N Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23229.
A Chapel Service will take place on September 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:50 am, at Woody Funeral Home Parham Chapel, 1771 N Parham road, followed by a Graveside Service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
