Obituary - Thomas Jordan Poindexter Jr.

Thomas J. Poindexter, Jr., 77, of Henrico, died June 9, 2026. He was preceded in death by his son, Kendrick Poindexter, and sister Jackie P. Poindexter. Surviving are his wife, Gwen Poindexter; son, Anthony L. Poindexter; daughter, Phelecia Parker; brother, Silas H. Poindexter; stepdaughters, Tamabatha L. James and Vanessa L. Phipps; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Tuesday, June 16 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery Amelia.
