Obituary - Kathy Barlow Johnson
Kathy Barlow Johnson, 70, of Sandston, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
She was a retired employee of Philip Morris and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, shopping and thrifting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Calvin Johnson; father, Carl Benjamin Barlow, Sr.; and mother, Margaret Lancaster Barlow.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Shana Johnson Adams (Tim); son, Dennis Johnson, Jr. (Lindsay); grandchildren, Kylie, Nicole, Ethan and Ciara; siblings, Benny Barlow, Clyde Barlow and Carol Lindsay; and pet dog, Penny.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 16, at 12 noon.
Entombment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
