Obituary - Grace Mary Crump
Grace Mary Crump, 69, of Henrico, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Edward W. Crump and Mary Harris Crump.
She was a proud graduate of Ruthville High School, Class of 1975 and continued her education at St. Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia.
Grace was a dedicated and hardworking woman who was employed with Nations Bank and Townes Bank. She later retired from Target after many years of employment.
In addition to her parents, Grace was also preceded in death by four sisters, Lois Anderson, Gwen Mosby, Mazie Thomas and Hilda Barbour; two brothers, Charles Crump and Ernest Crump; brothers-in-law, Rev. Dr. E. Walter Anderson and Thomas Barbour.
Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Kate Crump and Gloria Williams (Rev. Dr. Charles); six nieces, Robin Riley, Penny Gaines (Roderick), Charmaine Smith (Linwood), Cheryl Myers (Thurman), Alexis Mosby and Regina Barbour; six nephews, Thomas Barbour, Ernest Brown, Bruce Barbour, Clay Brooks, Raphiele Thomas, Marc Mosby and Marvin Brooks; one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Crump; a host of great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Grace will be remembered for her quiet strength, her dedication and the love she shared with her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, April 24 at Parrish Hill Baptist Church, 12401 John Tyler Memorial Highway, Charles City. Rev. Danny Tucker, Pastor and Eulogist. Interment church cemetery.
