Obituary - Charles Robert Hawker Sr.
Charles Robert Hawker Sr. passed on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 84, having been born on August 18, 1941, and residing in Henrico, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Henry Hawker and Alice Ruth Grimes Hawker; and his sisters, Carolyn and Jean.
Charles worked as a factory worker for E.R. Carpenter. He enjoyed walks.
His children survive him: Charles Robert Hawker, Jr., and his wife Kathy, and Annette H. Collum and her husband Grayland; cherished grandchildren, Melanie, Timothy, Adam, Johnathan, Hannah, and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Autumn, and Emily. He is also survived by his sisters, BarbarAnn, Gloria, and Louise, and his life-long friend Sylvia Jean H. Vaden.
A graveside service will be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, VA, on Thursday, July 30, at 2 PM.
