Obituary - Carroll Taylor Jeffreys
Carroll Taylor Jeffreys, 86 of Henrico County, VA, passed away on September 14, 2026. He was born November 15, 1939 in Roanoke, VA.
Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, William Phillips Jeffreys and Anne Taylor Jeffreys, his wife, Joan Wilson Jeffreys and his brother William Armstead Jeffreys.
He is survived by his niece, Isabel Jeffreys White, and cousins Beverley Stokes Bogan and Anne Stokes George.
Taylor was a graduate of Saint Christopher's School and Randolph Macon College. He enjoyed a career in sales. He loved traveling and his beloved Yellow Jackets.
Taylor's love for his Yellow Jackets was fitting, reflected in one of his final days. The Saturday before he passed away, he watched his Yellow Jackets upset Johns Hopkins in football. What a way to go out!
The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Berkeley at Short Pump Assisted Living for their kindness and care and to the wonderful team at Enlight Hospice for the compassionate support they provided to Taylor and his family.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Randolph Macon football team.
