Public Hearing
The Henrico County Department of Public Works has scheduled an in-person, public hearing for the Nuckols Trail Phase 1 & Nuckols Trail Phase 2 projects. Nuckols Trail Phase 1 will construct a 12 ft. wide shared use path from the intersection of Springfield Road and Nuckols Road to Broad Meadows Road. Nuckols Trail Phase 2 will construct a 12 ft. wide shared use path from Broad Meadows Road to Francistown Road. A pedestrian bridge will span Meredith Branch between Crystal Brook Terrace and Fairlake Lane. Both trail alignments follow the existing County Right of Way along Nuckols Road. At the public hearing, project plans and schematics will be available to view and County staff will be available to answer questions. You will also have the opportunity to provide comments on forms provided at the meeting or via the online survey at the project webpage links below. Comments can be submitted to the capital projects manager listed below after the meeting until December 16, 2026. The meeting will be open-house format. No formal presentation will be provided.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at Springfield Park Elementary School, 4301 Fort McHenry Parkway, Glen Allen, VA 23060, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
