Notice of Willingness to Hold a Public Hearing

The County of Henrico plans to improve pedestrian and vehicular infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility along Williamsburg Road between Charles City Road and Laburnum Avenue. Key components include sidewalk improvements and/or shared-use path improvements, the installation of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant curb ramps, pedestrian crossing facilities and lighting at signalized intersections, pavement markings, stormwater management, storm sewer, signage, extended turn lanes on Williamsburg Road at Laburnum Avenue, and a restricted crossing U-Turn/directional median at Finlay Street.

Construction is currently planned for 2031.

If your concerns cannot be satisfied, Henrico County is willing to hold a public hearing. You may request a public hearing by sending a written request to Department of Public Works, Attn: Joshua Wilson, P.O. Box 90775, Henrico, VA 23273-0775, on or before September 5th. If a request for a public hearing is received, notice of the date, time and place of the public hearing will be provided.
