Local authors to share publishing tips at RVA Pub Club

RVA Pub Club, a panel discussion with local authors, publishers and booksellers about the publishing industry and how authors can navigate it, will be held June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Book People, 10464 Ridgefield Parkway. 

The staff of Wildling Press, a local independent book publisher, will guide the discussion with Richmond-area authors Rachel McRady and Kristin Kisska, who will share tips about marketing, the pros and cons of different publishing pathways, finding the right publisher for a book, and more. 

The event, which is free and open to the public, will also include a Q&A and meet-and-greet. Authors will be available to sign books.
