Henrico School Board to elect new chair and vice-chair on Jan. 8

At a 4 p.m. work session on Thursday, Henrico School Board members will elect a new chair and vice-chair for the 2026 term.
The current chair, Tuckahoe District representative Marcie Shea, and vice-chair, Three Chopt District representative Madison Irving, were unanimously elected by the board last year.
School board members will also vote on the 2026 schedule of board meetings and assign members to different committees.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to submit comments to the meeting’s written public forum.
