Henrico Police to host ‘Vets in Law Enforcement’ information session Nov. 10

The Henrico County Police Division will host a “Veterans in Law Enforcement” information session Monday, Nov. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Henrico County Training Center, 7701 East Parham Road.

The event is designed for veterans who are interested in considering a transition to law enforcement careers. On-site resources will be available for those who want to apply for jobs.

Among its current workforce, Henrico Police counts 150 veterans (sworn and civilian)

The division currently is hiring for its 86th Basic Police Academy; new recruits will earn starting salaries of $64,038.

Those interested in attending the Nov. 10 event are encouraged to RSVP.
