Henrico Milestones: Sept. 29, 2026

A look at recent achievements by Henrico residents.

East Tennessee State University

Scott Hummel of Glen Allen was named to East Tennessee State University’s Summer 2026 Dean’s List. More than 200 students earned the honor. Undergraduate students qualify by passing at least 12 credits, with no grade below B-, and earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

University of Maryland Global Campus

Eight Henrico-area students were named to the University of Maryland Global Campus Dean’s List for the Summer 2026 term: Chelsie Brown, Logan Grubbs, Sarah Grubbs, Gelila Legesse and Bishop Ransom, of Glen Allen; and Tanique Clarke, Crystal Sauls and Stephanie Shepperson, of Henrico. Students must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a term GPA of at least 3.5 and maintain a cumulative UMGC GPA of at least 3.5 to qualify.
